Rebel Girl is an upcoming short film I co-wrote with cinematographer Dan Lupton. It is a personal story about hope, modern protest, and standing up for what you believe in. The film follows an older somewhat bitter woman and a young punk girl. As their opposing views collide, Rebel Girl explores the tension between youthful idealism and lived experience, and the unexpected ways in which people can still connect. At its heart, it is a story about kindness, understanding, and appreciating those who are willing to fight for a better world.
